How much do Websites typically cost?
Depending on content and technology requirements, Web sites can range from $200 to $4,000+. After we get a feel for the type of content and functionality your site will require, I will give you an estimate of the total cost of the project.
What software / hardware do you use?
I use the Adobe CS3 suite (Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop & Illustrator), Imagewell, Pages, Severskine, Transmit & BBEdit for Web and graphic design, and Apple’s Logic Studio 8, Reason, MadTracker & Native Instruments for audio production and engineering. As far as hardware goes, I use a Wacom Intuos2 tablet, KRK Rokit 8 studio monitors, and a Novation ReMote 37SL all connected to a Mac Pro running OS X 10.5.
What Web languages do you use?
I specialize in XHTML, CSS, PHP, SQL & Javascript and am constantly learning new languages as they are published.
What are Web Standards & why do you use them?
Web standards are a group of rules maintained by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) in order to provide universal accessibility and usability, regardless of browser preference or personal disabilities. I use Web standards because they help my client’s Web site to reach the broadest audience possible.
What qualifications do you have?
I studied Web & graphic design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. My Audio and PC skills are self taught and backed with years of experience.
