Biography
Born in Mesa, Arizona, Kevin Kelsey is the sole designer and owner of Kmotiv Design. He works from his flat in Fayetteville, Arkansas where he has lived for several years with his wife. Kevin is a massively creative individual who is passionate about subtlety & balance. He is a self-proclaimed perfectionist with a half-decade of experience in web design & audio engineering.
He established Kmotiv Design in 2007, offering a broad spectrum of new media design services including web design, graphic design, photo restoration & retouching, audio production & engineering, as well as computer repair & maintenance.
Kevin constantly continues to extend his qualifications by learning new skills. He most recently received a degree in web design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and trained in the screenprinting trade at Wildheart Designs.
In 2004 Kevin composed and self-released The Abstraction Agenda, an auditory experiment in electronic music under the alias Kmotiv. The album received critical acclaim and radio play both locally and nationally, resulting in several tracks being featured in the first season of breakthrough IPTV drama The Scene.
In 2006 Kmotiv contributed a previously unreleased song to the Artamiss project and received a nomination in the Northwest Arkansas Music Awards for "Best none of the above".
Kevin continues to compose music today, both as a hobby and professionally. He is currently completing work on a new song for Artamiss 8 (to be released May 8th @ The Dickson St. Theatre), composing the soundtrack for the Cosmopolitan Hotel, and working on new 'Kmotiv' music to be released online.
